Harrison Ford trades out Chewbacca for a St Bernard named Buck, in an exhilarating adventure based on the 1903 Jack London novel of the same name.

Following in the colossal snowy footsteps of Clark Gable (1935), Charlton Heston (1972), and a TV version with Rutger Hauer (1997), Harrison Ford takes the reins of this much-loved classic tale.

Directed by Chris Sanders (Lilo And Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon), in his live-action directorial debut and written by Michael Green (Blade Runner 2049, Murder on the Orient Express).

Ford is joined by Dan Stevens, Omar Sy, Karen Gillan, and Terry Notary mo-capping the dog.

Fun fact: Terry played the monkey-man in 2017’s The Square, could he be the next Andy Serkis?

Buck is a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life gets turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon in the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail-delivery dog sled team, Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime as he ultimately finds his true place in the world.
