Dora, most famous for exploring, has spent most of her life adventuring around the jungle with her parents and her best friend Boots (a monkey). But it turns out the biggest jungle out there is high school.

Dora the Explorer (played here by Isabela Moner, Instant Family) is all set to accompany her parents (Michael Peña and Eva Longoria) to discover the Lost City of Gold, until they announce that she’s actually starting school, in the hopes that she might become a more normal teenager - which of course doesn’t work out. Teacher: “Where did you transfer from?” Dora: “The jungle!”. But fear not! When her parents get into big trouble, she puts together a team of hapless classmates to venture into the Inca jungles.

This live-action adaptation of the 143 episode-spanning Dora The Explorer is directed by the comedic chops of James Bobin, who co-created both Flight Of The Conchords and many of the Da Ali G Show characters. Listen out for some Danny Trejo and Benicio Del Toro voiceovers. Go for gold this September.
